Players have to choose a shark and feed him in order to grow up and become a
bigger threat as they collect coins to purchase items or new sharks.
Gameplay mechanics are simple: you can either tilt your
device to control your shark or set the game to display virtual buttons. You
can also activate “turbo” mode by tapping on the screen and your shark will
receive a speed boost until the turbo bar is empty. The main objective of the

species that will beat you most of the time. When your shark starts being a threat
to the world, humans will join in the hunt. Submarines will try to take you
down, and even huge Whaling Ships will use deadly harpoons to destroy you.
Hungry Shark Evolution offers different shark species to
purchase, ranging from the Reef Shark to the Great White Shark. Moreover, you
can use real money to release the ultimate underwater predator: The Megalodon. You
are free to buy upgrades for your shark’s attributes such as additional turbo
or eating speed. Sharks can also be customized by purchasing aesthetic items
such as hats or necklaces. After all, being a relentless assassin is not
incompatible with following the latest fashion trends.
Each shark has a specific set of missions for you to
complete. You can unlock those by finding Shells as you explore beaches, the
sea bed, islands or new areas. Missions involve achieving a certain score, eating
a specific animal, or finding a sunken object. Once you have completed your
current shark’s missions, go ahead and buy the next one to increase your
chances of survival.
